Tim Beckers „Shut Up!“: Ventriloquism with a Bite in Bochum
When puppets suddenly have the better arguments and a ventriloquist can no longer rein in his stage figures, the big laugh alarm begins for Tim Becker. With his solo guest performance “Shut Up!”, the comedian will be at Varieté et cetera in Bochum on Wednesday, February 10, 2027.
Stand-up Comedy Meets Opinionated Puppets
The title is the program: In “Shut Up!”, life questions, absurd everyday situations, and wacky fantasies clash head-on. Tim Becker combines classic ventriloquism with stand-up comedy, sharp humor, and precise timing. His puppet characters say what others would rather package diplomatically – and turn the evening into a pointed self-conversation with surprisingly many conversational partners.
Punchlines, Timing, and a Healthy Dose of Puppet Madness
Becker's comedy thrives on the direct interaction between the ventriloquist, the figures, and the audience. Every punchline hits, every glance change has its own rhythm, and from a seemingly harmless dialogue, a wonderfully quirky stage scene quickly emerges. The comedy atmosphere at Varieté et cetera promises an intense laughing experience for all who enjoy cabaret, ventriloquism, and unusual stand-up formats.
An Evening for Fans of Quirky Humor
Tim Becker is among the well-known ventriloquists in the German comedy scene. His puppet comedy has been featured in formats such as NightWash, the Quatsch Comedy Club, and “The Puppet Stars”. In “Shut Up!”, he shines the spotlight on the figures that are particularly outspoken – and, for that reason, elicit the strongest audience reactions.
Comedy Live at Varieté et cetera Bochum
The show starts at 8:00 PM. Doors and kitchen open two hours before the show starts, allowing for a relaxed dining visit to complement the comedy evening. Admission costs 29 euros per person, and a reservation is required. Seating is assigned upon reservation.
