Bach in the Cosmos of the Soul: Schaghajegh Nosrati live in Bochum

On November 10, 2026, the Great Hall of the Anneliese Brost Music Forum Ruhr will transform into a resonance space for Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations. At the BOSY Extra piano concert, Schaghajegh Nosrati takes the solo part and guides the audience through a work that combines mathematical precision, deeply felt emotionality, and pianistic virtuosity.

A Masterpiece between Order and Feeling

Bach's Goldberg Variations BWV 988 are considered one of the most challenging touchstones of piano literature. From a clear musical theme, Bach develops a multifaceted sequence of variations in which rhythmic energy, contrapuntal artistry, and intimate colors intertwine. Each passage opens a new musical space – from the dance-like impulse to quiet concentration.

Schaghajegh Nosrati at the Piano

Schaghajegh Nosrati, winner of the Bochum Bach Prize in 2014, shapes this concert evening as a soloist. Ten years ago, she opened the music forum as a pianist. Her return connects personal concert history with a repertoire that demands the highest technical control and interpretative depth.

Live Atmosphere in the Great Hall

In the acoustically optimized Great Hall, the piano unfolds its full tonal range. Attack, articulation, and dynamic balance become immediately tangible. The audience's mood is created not by large stage movements, but by the concentrated stage performance of a pianist who makes Bach's orchestration audible for a single instrument.

An Evening for Classical Music Fans and Explorers

The concert is aimed at lovers of classical music as well as those who want to experience Bach's Goldberg Variations live. The precise synchronization of mind, movement, and sound makes the evening an intense concert experience in the heart of Bochum.

Conclusion: BOSY Extra: Cosmos for the Soul promises a concentrated, virtuosic, and emotional piano evening with Schaghajegh Nosrati. Anyone who wants to not only hear Bach but experience it in all its architectural and soulful depth should enjoy this concert live at the Anneliese Brost Music Forum Ruhr.
