SingAlong in Bochum: When the audience becomes a large choir
On October 9, 2026, Gleis 9 in Bochum transforms into a musical meeting point for everyone who wants to not just hear well-known hits but sing them together. At SingAlong, 90s classics and early 2000s hits meet a large screen, visible lyrics, and the energy of hundreds of sing-along participants.
The biggest sing-along hits of a whole generation
The song selection takes a journey through notable pop, rock, and ballad moments of the 90s and early 2000s. Well-known number one hits, songs from popular series, and catchy chartbreakers form the soundtrack for an evening full of memories. The titles are chosen for their popularity and sing-along suitability, allowing both passionate karaoke fans and spontaneous choir members to quickly find their place.
Large screen, clear lyrics, and collective sound
All song lyrics are visualized on a large screen. This creates an immediate live atmosphere: The gaze wanders between the stage, projection, and the singing people in the room, as individual voices merge into a multi-voiced concert sound. The synchronization of music, text display, and audience mood makes the evening a special concert experience.
Moderation with facts, anecdotes, and stage energy
The moderation guides the program and complements the songs with information and anecdotes about the artists and their music. Thus, SingAlong combines musical entertainment with a look at pop culture, memories, and the impact of great refrains. Between orchestrated song selection, attentive timing, and direct audience engagement, a stage performance emerges that invites participation.
An evening between nostalgia and after-party
Doors open at 7:15 PM, the sing-along event starts at 8:00 PM and is expected to end around 10:00 PM. An after-party is announced afterward. Gleis 9 is located at Kulturgleis 9 in the middle of Bochum, with public parking available in the immediate vicinity. The venue is reachable in just a few minutes on foot from Bochum central station.
