Animal Observation Meets Art: A Special Journey Through Bochum

Animals and Art connects two special perspectives on perception and observation in Bochum on October 27, 2026. The joint program by Tierpark + Fossilium Bochum and Kunstmuseum Bochum invites participants to first experience animals in their environment and then shift their focus to art.

From the Zoo to the Art Museum

The event begins at Tierpark + Fossilium Bochum. Animal observation is the focal point here. The encounter with the animals forms the starting point for a program that explores perception not only from a natural history standpoint but also from an artistic perspective. Subsequently, the path leads to Kunstmuseum Bochum, where the event concludes.

The change of location is a vital part of the format: between animal observation and art, a connection emerges that encourages closer examination and comparison of different forms of perception. The program is aimed at anyone who wants to experience the zoo and the art museum in a shared context.
