In the Evangelical Pauluskirche Bochum, two independent artistic positions meet: works by Renate von Charlottenburg and BĀLAVAT. The exhibition combines detailed drawing, philosophically charged object images, and a sacred exhibition atmosphere into a special art experience.

Renate von Charlottenburg and BĀLAVAT were a couple for almost five decades, but always artistically independent. BĀLAVAT develops a powerful, contemporary visual language in his object images.
