The route is managed by the HUMAINE competence center at Ruhr University Bochum. The approach: human-centered development, responsible use, and transparent organization of AI. Funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space, and supported by the project sponsor Karlsruhe, the center was supported with around 9 million euros from 04/2021 to 03/2026. In cooperation with the Route Industrial Culture, the exhibition links regional identity with future work.
