On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Traffic Historical Working Group BOGESTRA e.V. invites you to the season finale at the final stop Höntrop Church in Bochum. From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the event combines historical vehicles, club life, history of technology, and a sociable event experience for the whole family.

The journey itself will already be a special part of the day: A historical tram will run from Bochum city center to the final stop Höntrop Church. Additionally, historical buses from Essen-Steele and Wattenscheid are planned. Thus, the time travel begins not only at the event site but already on the traditional routes of the Ruhr area.

On site, the VhAG BOGESTRA will present historical trams and buses. The vehicles vividly illustrate the over 125-year history of public transport and provide insights into the technology, design, and everyday life of past transport eras. Friendly clubs from Essen and Wuppertal will enhance the season finale with shops and information stands. In the Tram Shop, the freshly printed photo calendar 2027, various motif mugs featuring line drawings of historic trams, and the last model buses of the BOGESTRA anniversary bus 2026 will be available. The bus model was produced in a scale of 1:87 by the manufacturer Rietze; sales will be based on availability.
