Autumn Crafting in Gerthe: Creative Learning Fun for Kids
Colorful leaves, cozy autumn days, and many creative ideas: At the Autumn Crafting event in the Gerthe branch library, children aged five and up experience a lovingly designed family event celebrating the most beautiful season of the year.
Create with Your Hands and Discover Autumn
During the communal crafting, autumnal creations are made that children can take home with them. The creative work strengthens fine motor skills, concentration, and imagination. At the same time, the event offers a child-friendly learning experience where curious experimentation and personal ideas take center stage.
Quality Time with Children's Laughter
The calm atmosphere of the library creates space for a relaxed family experience. Children can explore materials, shape forms, and unleash their creativity. Parents accompany their children in a varied activity that combines quality time, wonder, and joy.
Aged Appropriately and Weather Independent
The Autumn Crafting is aimed at children aged five and up and takes place as a bad weather option in the Gerthe branch library. This makes the creative afternoon planable regardless of the weather. Registration is required to ensure good preparation as well as a safe, family-friendly process.
Free Entry – Registration Required
Entry is free. Families must register their children in advance via email at BuechereiGerthe@bochum.de. The event begins on October 19, 2026, at 4:30 PM in the Gerthe branch library in the North School Center.
Conclusion: Autumn Joy to Take Home
The Autumn Crafting combines creative development, child-friendly learning fun, and valuable time together. Families experience a colorful afternoon full of curiosity and children's laughter – and bring home not only beautiful crafting ideas but also a special autumn feeling.
