Balduin stays green: A colorful family experience in Bochum
When a cheeky chameleon suddenly no longer wants to change color, it begins a humorous journey full of wonder, curiosity, and children's laughter for kids. In the scenic reading Balduin stays green, families experience a child-friendly mix of picture book cinema, puppetry, and interactive cabaret elements.
A story about courage and the self
Balduin wonders why chameleons should change their color. As long as he does not receive a convincing answer, he simply stays green. The story invites children to ask questions, express their own thoughts, and build trust in their own personality.
Reading, picture book cinema, and puppets
Fritzi Bender brings Balduin's adventures to life on stage. Scenic reading, colorful images, and expressive puppets combine for a varied learning experience. Interactive cabaret elements provide movement, shared laughter, and a playful access to language and stories.
Age-appropriate learning fun for children aged 4 to 8
The program is aimed at children aged four to eight years, making it suitable for kindergarten and primary school children. The combination of storytelling, visual impressions, and puppetry supports joy of language, imagination, social learning, and the development of one's own means of expression.
