From Laughter to Goosebumps: When Stories Suddenly Giggle and Tingle
At the Gerthe branch library, an ordinary vacation day becomes a creative workshop for young authors. In the writing workshop From Laughter to Goosebumps, children and teenagers develop their own stories, bring characters to life, and discover how an initial idea can evolve into an exciting text.
Imagination Instead of Vacation Routine
Whether adventure story, fantasy, crime, or everyday tale: Here, the individual voice gets space. Between paper, imagination, and curious gazes, texts emerge with humor, suspense, and real goosebumps moments. Professional tips from writing practice help in crafting believable characters, writing lively scenes, and placing punchlines precisely at the right moment.
Writing Fun with Professional Guidance
The workshop is led by Castroper author Kristina Dunker. Participants work without school stress and grading pressure, but with plenty of inspiration, creativity, and joy in storytelling. The format is aimed at children and teenagers aged 10 to 16 years and offers space for a maximum of seven young writers.
A Creative Stage for Young Stories
The event takes place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Gerthe library transforms into a protected writing space where ideas may grow, and from initial sentences, small literary worlds arise. The result: an inspiring experience filled with laughter, imagination, suspense, and heaps of creative energy.
Conclusion: Writing Stories that Stay in the Mind
From Laughter to Goosebumps brings young people together with literature, creative writing, and playful storytelling. Those who crave their own characters, surprising twists, and a lively comedy atmosphere between humor and suspense will experience a special vacation day in Gerthe. Admission is free.
