Olchi Advent Fun for the Whole Family in Bochum
On the first Advent, the Theaterrevier will be wonderfully quirky, loud, and festive: At the Advent reading The Olchis Celebrate Christmas, children from four years old will experience an imaginative story based on the children's book by Erhard Dietl. The Theaterrevier team will read, act, and sing their way through the olchi Christmas world – with lots of nonsense, music, and opportunities to participate.
Christmas in Schmuddelfing
The Olchis love it cozy, lazy, and a little dirty. When they learn about the Christmas market, singing songs, and roasted almonds, their own Christmas enthusiasm awakens. The green residents of Schmuddelfing saw, hammer, bake, rhyme, and offer their unusual junk at the Christmas market – naturally in exchange for fish bones and shoe soles.
Reading, acting, singing, and participating
The event combines reading, acting, and music into a child-friendly family experience. Children encounter a well-known picture book world, discover new words playfully, and experience how stories come alive through voices, movement, and singing together. Christmas crafts complement the program and create space for creativity, curiosity, and personal learning experiences.
Age-appropriate and full of fun learning
The Advent reading is recommended for children aged four and up. The manageable duration and interactive design fit the development of younger children. Listening together fosters attention and language comprehension, while participation promotes self-confidence and a sense of community. Families enjoy a warm, humorous break filled with children's laughter and shared time.
A special Advent Sunday
At Theaterrevier, fantasy, music, and olchi humor meet a pre-Christmas atmosphere. Parents and children experience theater not only as spectators but as a joint discovery. The story invites conversations about individual Christmas traditions, unusual ideas, and the joy of being different.
Conclusion: Families can expect a joyful Advent reading with well-known Olchi characters, music, Christmas crafts, and plenty of opportunities to participate. Those who want to experience a child-friendly theater afternoon full of wonder, nonsense, and fun learning should visit the Olchis live at Theaterrevier.
