Olchi Advent Fun for Young Theater Fans in Bochum

On Sunday, December 6, 2026, the Theaterrevier in Bochum will be wonderfully quirky, musical, and Christmas-themed. At the Advent reading The Olchis Celebrate Christmas, children aged four and up will experience an imaginative story based on the popular children's book by Erhard Dietl.

Christmas in Schmuddelfing

The Olchis love to be cozy, lazy, and a bit dirty. When they hear about the Christmas market, singing carols, and roasted almonds, their own Christmas enthusiasm awakens. They saw, hammer, bake, and rhyme, and offer their olchi junk at the Christmas market.

Reading, Playing, Singing, and Participating

The Theaterrevier team reads, plays, and sings through the olchi Christmas world. This creates a lively family experience with children's laughter, music, silliness, and many moments to participate. The combination of storytelling, acting, and singing appeals to multiple senses and makes the story easily accessible to younger children.

Age-appropriate Learning Experience Full of Imagination

The event is recommended for children aged four and up. The child-friendly production enhances the joy of stories, language, and shared cultural experiences. While listening, marveling, and participating, children playfully discover different forms of expression and experience how a well-known picture book transforms into a shared theater experience.

Pre-Christmas Quality Time

The Advent reading combines family time with learning fun and a festive atmosphere. Quirky olchi ideas, olchi poems, and musical moments ensure an afternoon where children can let their curiosity run wild and adults experience the special energy of the Young Theater House.

The Theaterrevier offers a protected indoor space for the family program. Parents accompany their children during the event and can immerse themselves together in the imaginative world of Schmuddelfing.

Conclusion: Experience Christmas in a Delightfully Olchi Way

Families can look forward to a humorous Advent afternoon full of music, imagination, and participation. Those who want to give their children an age-appropriate learning experience, shared wonder, and an unusual Christmas experience should experience The Olchis Celebrate Christmas live at the Theaterrevier.
