Nightride – Christmas Edition: Bochum's big 16+ Christmas party
On Friday, December 18, 2026, the Prater Nightlife in Bochum transforms into a festive party zone with five areas, four floors, and an energy-filled night full of music, light, and clubbing. The Nightride – Christmas Edition takes party fans through various musical worlds and combines Christmas spirit with intense dance floor vibes.
Five areas, four floors, and a diverse music mix
The party lineup spreads across several areas: In the DOM, under the theme Best Of All Styles, varied party hits play, while the GOLD CLUB represents Finest Black Music. In AQUA, Alltime Party Hits create sing-along moments, and the HÖLLE brings Mallorca and fun sounds to the dance floor. The lounge offers a quieter chill-out area.
Laser show, confetti, and CO2 effects
The club experience focuses on visible and palpable energy: laser shows, confetti, and CO2 effects accompany the DJ sets and give the night a dynamic festival atmosphere. Additionally, there’s a rotating dance floor, a cocktail bar with a professional bartender, and an open-air rooftop terrace.
Party atmosphere for guests aged 16 and older
The Nightride is one of the major 16+ parties in the Ruhr area. Admission starts at 10:00 PM. Guests aged 16 and older can celebrate all night long with a parental authorization. For adult guests, a maximum age of 27 years applies according to the event information.
Salitos special and easy access
With the free Prater app, visitors receive Salitos for 3.50 euros at check-in all night long. Free parking is available during opening hours directly in front of and behind the Prater, as well as on the opposite grounds of the Hannibal shopping center. Tram line 306 connects the NE stop with Bochum main train station and Wanne-Eickel main train station.
Conclusion: Christmas night with full club energy
The Nightride – Christmas Edition promises a long party night with multiple dance floors, changing music styles, spectacular effects, and a diverse crowd. Those who want to experience Bochum's big 16+ party live should arrive early and get ready for beats, light, and an extraordinary Christmas atmosphere at Prater Nightlife.
