Rathausclubbing: Blockparty Summer Edition by Cypher 44 e. V.

Afro-House, R'n'B and Good Vibes in the heart of the city: On Saturday, July 18, the Rathausclubbing invites you to the Blockparty Summer Edition from 4 PM to 10 PM at the Rathausvorplatz at Willy-Brandt-Platz. The Rathausclubbing is a project of the Bochum Strategy, organized by Bochum Marketing in collaboration with the Cultural Office of the City of Bochum, and the Blockparty is presented by Cypher 44. Admission is free. The program features three DJ sets that draw on different influences of urban culture, as well as dance performances by the Cypher 44 dance school. Food and drinks will be available, and a small designer urban market will provide a platform for local artists and small businesses from Bochum to showcase their products and projects. The Blockparty also invites participation: those interested can design and print their own T-shirt on site or capture the day at a photo booth. This creates an open meeting place at the Rathausvorplatz that makes the creative and cultural diversity of Bochum tangible, bringing together people of different generations and communities. At the same time, the festival particularly offers young people an uncomplicated access to art, music, and urban culture in their own city environment.
