Active Sunday in Bochum: Gymnastics, Play, and Team Spirit
When cold winter weather awaits outside, the gymnasium of Cruismannschule transforms into a vibrant movement space for children. During Active Sunday, children in grades 1 to 4 experience two hours full of play, sports, and shared activity.
Active Together Through Winter
On November 15, 2026, movement, joy, and team spirit are at the forefront. Qualified trainers create a diverse sports program where children can try out new games, discover new activities, and be active together with friends.
Sporty Event Atmosphere for Children
The gymnasium provides the perfect setting for an energy-filled event experience: sportswear, gym shoes, and a lot of joy in moving are part of the equipment for the young participants. The concept combines child-friendly communication with professional event planning and creates space for play.
Important Information for Families
Doors open at 1:45 PM, the movement program starts at 2:00 PM, and ends at 4:00 PM. Participation is free of charge. About 30 spots are available per event. Parents or guardians are requested to provide a phone number for possible inquiries during the event.
Organized for Safe Movement
Active Sunday is a cooperation project of the City Sports Federation Bochum e.V. and the City of Bochum. The project is funded by the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the support program Sports Space Municipality 2.0.
Conclusion: Two Hours Full of Movement
Active Sunday brings children in Bochum together in movement and combines athletic activity with play, interaction, and a great atmosphere. If you want to provide your child with a free, supervised, and active Sunday experience, the gymnasium of Cruismannschule is the perfect meeting point.
