Up High in Bochum: Climbing Fun and Football Action for Young Sports Fans
On October 22, 2026, the grounds of SC Union-Bergen 1922 e.V. in Bochum-Bergen will transform into a sports experience area. As part of Action Week, the mobile high ropes course of the Bochum City Sports Federation awaits children, teenagers, and young adults who wish to demonstrate courage, skill, and team spirit.
Secured at Great Heights
Helmet on, harness secured, and off we go: The mobile high ropes course offers exciting climbing elements in a safe environment. A trained team will accompany participants through the course, providing assistance and support for a safe descent. A surrounding safety line offers additional protection, while each step upwards opens new perspectives.
Action, Movement, and Field Excitement
In addition to the climbing offerings, visitors can look forward to a football tournament. On the club grounds, sporting ambition, quick combinations, and shared cheers come together. Further creative offerings complement the program and make Action Week a varied movement day for young people.
Important Notes for Participation
To use the mobile high ropes course, a minimum height of 1.10 meters and a maximum body weight of 90 kilograms apply. Athletic clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended. The event takes place outdoors and combines climbing fun, football, and creative participation offers into an active holiday day in Bochum.
Conclusion: A Sports Day of Courage and Team Spirit
At the Up High event, young sports fans experience stadium atmosphere on the club grounds, thrills in the heights, and field excitement during the football tournament. Those who love movement, adventure, and trying things out together will experience a varied day full of action here.
