"CAUGHT COLD!": Winter Magic with Brunch and Variety
When the curtain rises at the Variety et cetera, a stage experience full of excitement, humor, and artistic surprises begins. "CAUGHT COLD!" combines a festive brunch experience with international variety arts and invites you to a special Christmas day in Bochum on December 26, 2026.
Acrobatics Between Thrills and Elegance
The winter show leads the audience into a world where gravity loses its obviousness. Daring aerial acrobats, flexible contortionists, fast-paced roller skating, and record-breaking juggling come together for a high-tempo performance with surprising twists.
On stage, physical precision and poetic stage art collide. The set design, lighting atmosphere, and costumes create the backdrop for a revue that shifts between festive atmosphere, artistic risk, and comical lightness.
International Acrobatics and Sharp Humor
The show is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation and singing. The artist comes from a renowned circus family and combines musical talent with the energy of a classic variety conference. Together with Kimberly Lester, he also presents a fast-paced roller skating act.
The anarchic note is provided by comedian Skizzo. His stage persona links magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling into a quirky play on the audience's expectations. The ensemble is complemented by performances in contortion, antipodism, trapeze, acrobatics, and juggling.
A Brunch to Kick Off the Stage Experience
The variety program includes a buffet that opens the visit with culinary delight. This creates a connection between communal enjoyment and the immediate theater atmosphere of the Variety et cetera. The switch between gastronomic experience and artistic presentation turns the afternoon into a festive outing for families, friend groups, and anyone looking to make the second day of Christmas extraordinary.
Direction, Lighting, and Stage Aesthetics
The direction is handled by Sammy Tavalis. Lighting design and stage set carry the dramaturgy of the show, while costumes give each number its own visual language. The result is a diverse revue, where rapid cascades, musical moments, and comedic relief blend into a cohesive theater evening.
Conclusion: Christmas with Acrobatics and Surprises
"CAUGHT COLD!" promises a sensual stage experience with brunch, music, comedy, and international acrobatics. Those wishing to celebrate December 26, 2026, with bright images, shared time, and spectacular theatrical and circus art will experience a winter show with its own atmosphere at the Variety et cetera.
