"CAUGHT ICE COLD!": Variety Arts between Thrill and Buffet
When the curtain rises on November 29, 2026, at Varieté et cetera, a thrilling stage experience full of artistic precision, surprising twists, and hearty humor begins. The winter show "CAUGHT ICE COLD!" combines international variety art with music, comedy, and a buffet for an atmospheric evening in Bochum.
Gravity becomes inconsequential
The production takes the audience through a world where aerial acrobatics, roller skate artistry, juggling, and contortion create their own laws. The duo Deibit and Nymeria seemingly move weightlessly through space on aerial silks, while the roller skate cascades provide speed and electrifying tension. Sudi Salumu, winner of the Engagement Award from Varieté et cetera, transforms his extraordinarily flexible body into a living work of art.
Music, Comedy, and International Acting
The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation and singing. The entertainer hails from a long-standing circus family, combining charming stage presence with artistic skill. The anarchic comedy is provided by Skizzo, whose performances merge magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling.
Drama, Light, and Atmosphere
Director Sammy Tavalis shapes the individual performances into a varied arc of suspense. The dramaturgy thrives on the alternation between risky feats of strength, poetic moments, and comedic relief. Lighting moods, costumes, and set design create a festive framework for a show that captivates the audience immediately. Accessibility and technical mastery characterize the theatrical atmosphere of Varieté et cetera.
An Evening with Culinary Accompaniment
“Show & Buffet” combines the energy of stage art with a delightful evening. Between acrobatics, music, and laughter, a shared experience unfolds that transcends the classic theater visit. The audience's reaction arises from the immediate interplay of amazement, tension, and liberating comedy.
Conclusion: Experience Variety Live
“CAUGHT ICE COLD!” promises a multifaceted stage experience with international artistry, charismatic moderation, comedy, and culinary moments. Those seeking the special closeness of variety, spectacular body art, and a festive theater atmosphere will experience an evening full of speed, elegance, and surprises at Varieté et cetera.
