Christmas Forest: A Modern Fairytale about the Magic of Christmas
When the doors to the Christmas Forest open at the Traumbaum Theater, a festive journey begins for children from four years old right into the Advent season. The performance combines an entertaining Christmas story with the question of what Christmas fundamentally means: community, warmth, hope, and the wonder of little miracles.
A Poetic Stage Forest for the Whole Family
The modern Christmas fairytale unfolds its magic from the closeness and immediacy of the theater. In the KulturMagazin, a theatrical atmosphere is created in which young spectators can experience the stage happenings particularly intensely. The acting, narrative dynamics, and Christmas light ambiance create a magical space that inspires both imagination and conversation.
Dramaturgy with Heart and a Clear Message
At the center is not a mere succession of festive images, but a dramaturgically concentrated search for the meaning of Christmas. The performance focuses on comprehensible characters, playful tension, and a child-friendly narrative style. Thus, the Christmas Forest combines entertainment with an enduring thought: Christmas gains its significance where people are there for each other.
A Stage Experience for Children from Four Years Old
With a playing time of about 50 minutes, the performance is also suitable for younger theatergoers. Afterwards, a follow-up discussion is planned, giving children the space to share impressions and think further about the story. This connection between performance and discussion makes the stage experience a special introduction to the world of stage art.
