"COLD CAUGHT!": Brunch, Varieté and artistic boundary crossings

When the winter show "COLD CAUGHT!" begins on Sunday at Varieté et cetera, a delightful brunch combines with a thrilling journey through international stage art. On January 31, 2027, the audience in Bochum can expect a stage experience full of acrobatics, music, comedy, and surprising moments.

Gravity becomes a minor issue

The production focuses on dizzying aerial acrobatics, flexible contortion, spectacular roller-skating artistry, and record-worthy juggling. Straps, body art, and precise movements come together to create a varied variety program, where each performance develops its own little dramaturgy. Lighting design, stage set, and costumes create the atmospheric framework for a show that balances elegance, thrill, and stunned speechlessness.

International artistry with Bochum stage energy

The program will be guided by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation and singing. The artist comes from a long-standing circus family and combines charming presence with musical talent. Together with Kimberley Lester, he also performs a fast-paced roller-skating number. The ensemble brings international experience and diverse disciplines together: from antipodism and juggling to straps, contortion, and classical acrobatics.

Humor between thrill and poetry

The comedic touch is provided by Skizzo. His stage character combines magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling into an anarchic variety form. This creates those surprising breaks that reach the audience immediately: One moment, the air holds its breath, and the next moment, the tension dissolves into loud laughter.

Brunch as part of the stage experience

With the format "Brunch & Varieté," the culinary prelude is part of the overall experience. The buffet combines enjoyment and theater atmosphere before the artists transform the space with their body control, speed, and musical instinct. Acoustics, lighting mood, and audience reaction merge into a Sunday experience that goes far beyond an ordinary restaurant visit.

Conclusion: A Sunday between enjoyment and amazement

"COLD CAUGHT!" promises variety art with an international ensemble, precise direction, and a lively mix of acrobatics, comedy, and music. Those who want to experience a special Sunday in Bochum will find a stage at Varieté et cetera where gravity briefly loses its influence. This stage experience deserves to be discovered live.
