When the stage becomes an icy circus

On December 10, 2026, the Varieté et cetera in Bochum transforms into a venue full of acrobatics, music, comedy, and surprising twists. The winter show FREEZING COLD CAUGHT! combines spectacular body art with charming moderation and an atmosphere where wonder and laughter immediately intertwine.

Acrobatics between gravity and wonder

The performance leads through a versatile variety program: fearless aerial acrobatics, contortion, partner acrobatics, juggling, and rapid roller skating create new visual highlights. Sudi Salumu brings his exceptionally flexible body into almost impossible positions. The artist received the Special Award of Varieté et cetera at the newcomer competition in Leipzig in 2025.

Juggling, roller skates, and great stage moments

Walid Merhi combines classical music with modern beats, making balls and frisbees seemingly weightless fly through the air. The duo Deibit y Nymeria showcases aerial acrobatics on straps, while Kimberly Lester, with her antipodism and a joint roller skating number with Pierre Poissonnet, provides elegant precision and breathless dynamics.

Comedy with anarchistic charm

Pierre Poissonnet guides the evening with singing, humor, and artistic intuition. The comedic lightness is provided by Davide Nicolosi, aka Skizzo, whose stage persona combines magic, music, dance, anti-juggling, and spontaneous audience engagement. This results in dramaturgy that surprises with humorous breaks between thrill and wonder.

Direction, stage design, and atmosphere

Director Sammy Tavalis shapes the individual disciplines into a varied show evening. Lighting design, costumes, and set design support the transition between frosty winter mood, warm variety elegance, and rapid artistry. The result is a sensual stage experience with sparkling light moods, precise acoustics, and audience reactions that swing between tense silence and spontaneous laughter.

Conclusion: An evening for all senses

FREEZING COLD CAUGHT! promises a winter show that combines acrobatics, acting, comedy, and music into an atmospheric overall experience. Those who wish to not only see variety but to physically feel it will experience an evening full of energy, elegance, and astonishing moments at Varieté et cetera.
