hello nobody: A Roadtrip in Verses in the Oval Office

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the Oval Office of the Schauspielhaus Bochum will transform into a concentrated place for contemporary poetry and performative theater. hello nobody by Yevgeniy Breyger starts at 8:00 PM and combines language, political observation, and the dynamics of a journey into an unusual event experience.

Poetic Journey Through a Fragile Present

The subtitle Roadtrip in Verses indicates the way: Breyger's long poem follows an Austrian who travels to Germany and wishes to become Chancellor. From this initial idea emerges a surreal-poetic movement through a world where normality, political certainties, and personal orientation are put into question.

Between Wit, Crisis, and Resonance

Yevgeniy Breyger combines narrative elements with condensed lyricism. The result sounds simultaneously frantic, reflective, and irritatingly funny. Social tensions, war, and crisis are presented not as sober news but as a linguistically charged experience that resonates immediately in the space of the theater.

The Oval Office as a Laboratory for New Stage Forms

The Oval Office at Schauspielhaus Bochum stands for new artistic impulses. Here, literature, documentary, music, conversation, and drama intersect. With around 100 seats, the venue creates a closeness where audience mood, voice, and language become particularly intensively experienced.

For event planning, the evening offers a clear target audience: Literature enthusiasts, friends of contemporary theater, and anyone who wants to discover poetic forms of social reflection will experience a production away from classical stage conventions.

Conclusion: Experience Language Live

hello nobody promises a concentrated theater evening between road movie, political satire, and modern lyricism. Those who want to experience language as movement, a space for thought, and a stage event will find a special evening with Yevgeniy Breyger's poetic journey in the Oval Office.
