Winter magic, acrobatics and anarchic humor: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum

On November 8, 2026, the Varieté et cetera transforms into a stage for dizzying aerial acrobatics, fast-paced roller skate artistry, astonishing juggling, and winking comedy. The winter show ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international stage art with music, charm, and surprising twists into a sensual stage experience for variety fans.

When gravity becomes the opponent

The staging by Sammy Tavalis relies on a versatile ensemble and a dynamic change of disciplines. The duo Deibit y Nimeria showcases spectacular aerial acrobatics, while the trio Beautiful shifts the boundaries between strength, trust, and elegance with precise partner acrobatics. Sudi Salumu brings an extraordinary body art as a contortionist to the stage, holding the audience’s breath with every movement.

Roller skates, juggling and the rhythm of risk

Kimberley Lester presents antipodes artistry and performs in a fast-paced roller skate number alongside Pierre Poissonnet. Poissonnet hosts and sings through the evening, connecting artistic tradition with modern show dramaturgy. The Bochum artist Walid Merhi makes balls and Frisbees seemingly weightless circle through the room, adding a unique musical tension to the juggling.

Comedy as a sparkling counter-movement

The comedic height is ensured by Davide Skizzo Nicolosi. His stage character combines magic, music, dance, anti-juggling, and spontaneous moments. Between the artistic highlights, a lively audience reaction emerges, giving the performance its anarchic and familial touch.

A winter show with an international ensemble

The dramatic power of ICE COLD CAUGHT! lies in contrast: here physical precision meets musical lightness, risky artistry meets comedic relaxation. Stage design, lighting, and costumes frame the acts into a colorful variety revue that appeals to all the senses. The ensemble brings experiences from international varieties, circus productions, talent shows, and prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House together.

Conclusion: Variety as an immediate stage experience

Visitors can expect an evening full of wonder, laughter, and artistic tension. ICE COLD CAUGHT! demonstrates how directly stage art can affect when acrobatics, music, and acting are in direct contact with the audience. Those who experience the winter show live dive into a world where every jump, every turn, and every gag ignites the evening anew.
