The winter show "ICE COLD CAUGHT!" combines international variety arts with surprising twists from October 30, 2026, to February 28, 2027, creating an atmosphere that brings warm enthusiasm right in the cold season.

Gravity becomes a minor matter

The production takes the audience through a diverse program of aerial acrobatics, contortion, juggling, roller skating artistry, straps, and classic variety comedy. Daring artists transform the stage into a game of balance, speed, and precision. These moments arise when the audience holds its breath, before the tension resolves into awe and applause.

Artistic ensemble with an international profile

The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet, who provides moderation and singing. The artist comes from a renowned circus family and combines charming stage presence with his own artistic experience. Alongside Kimberly Lester, he also delivers a fast-paced roller skating act on stage.

Comedic contrasts are provided by Davide Nicolosi, alias "Skizzo". His stage character blends magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling into a quirky play with audience expectations. Sudi Salumu showcases exceptional body control as a contortionist, while Bochum artist Walid Merhi makes Frisbees and balls appear to fly weightlessly through the air with modern juggling.

The ensemble is complemented by the trio Beautiful, the duo Deibit y Nimeria on straps, and the Skating Willers. Direction is by Sammy Tavalis. Lighting design, costume design, and set design together shape the visual character of this wintry variety production.

Light, costumes, and theatrical atmosphere

The dramaturgy relies on alternating between tension, comedy, and poetic images. Fast-paced acts meet elegant movements, musical transitions, and surprising punchlines. Lighting moods model the bodies in the space, while costumes and set design emphasize the winter character of the show. This creates a sensory stage experience that intertwines acting, artistry, and show dramaturgy.
