"ICE COLD CAUGHT!" brings winter variety to Bochum

When the lights at the Varieté et cetera light up, a thrilling journey begins through acrobatics, music, comedy, and surprising twists. The winter show "ICE COLD CAUGHT!" combines from October 30, 2026, to February 28, 2027, breathtaking aerial acrobatics, elegant roller skate artistry, and stunning body art into a sensual stage experience for the cold season.

Acrobatics between gravity and wonder

At the center of the production are international artists who transform the stage space with precision and physical presence. Contortionist Sudi Salumu twists his elastic body into seemingly impossible positions. Bochum juggler Walid Merhi slices frisbees and balls through the air in a modern, dynamic choreography.

Roller skate artistry, antipodists, and big show moments

The duo Skating Willers provides sparkling movement with a breathtaking roller skate number. Pierre Poissonnet serves as the moderator and singer, connecting the individual acts with charm, song, and artistic intuition. Together with Kimberly Lester, he continues a long-standing circus art that combines athletic precision and elegant stage presence.

Comedy as a dramatic counterpoint

Between the artistic highlights, Davide Nicolosi aka Skizzo provides anarchic comedy. His stage character combines magic, music, dance, anti-juggling, and spontaneous moments. This creates a varied dramaturgy where tension and liberating laughter follow one another immediately.

An ensemble full of international stage art

The ensemble includes, in addition to Pierre Poissonnet, Skizzo, Kimberly Lester, and the Skating Willers, the duo Deibit y Nimeria on the trapeze, the trio Beautiful, Sudi Salumu, and Walid Merhi. The direction is in the hands of Sammy Tavalis. Lighting design, costumes, and stage design form the visual framework for a winter show that works with movement, color, and acoustics.

Conclusion: Variety as an experience for all senses

"ICE COLD CAUGHT!" promises an evening where artistic excellence, stage humor, and winter atmosphere intertwine. Those who want to experience variety not just as a visual spectacle but as an immediate theater atmosphere will find an evening full of energy, elegance, and surprise in the Varieté et cetera.
