Acrobatics between gravity and wonder

The stage set, the lighting mood, and the precise choreography create an atmosphere where each performance feels like its own little tension arc.

International artistry with strong character faces

The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation, singing, and artistic talent. The artist comes from a renowned circus family and shares the stage with Kimberly Lester for exhilarating roller skating artistry. Lester also presents a challenging antipode performance where she controls balls with her feet in the air.

Sudi Salumu provides spectacular body art. The contortionist brings his body into extraordinary positions and was awarded the Special Award of the Varieté et cetera at the Newcomer Show in Leipzig in 2025. The young trio Beautiful showcases partner acrobatics, while the duo Deibit y Nymeria explores the limits of strength, trust, and balance on straps.

Juggling, comedy, and surprising twists

The Bochum artist Walid Merhi combines classical juggling with modern beats, making balls and frisbees fly through the space seemingly weightlessly. The trio Beautiful complements the show with elegant acrobatics and high physical precision.

Between the artistic highlights, Davide Skizzo Nicolosi provides comedic relief. His stage character combines comedy, music, dance, magic, and anti-juggling. This creates a varied dramaturgy that intertwines awe and laughter closely together.

The theater atmosphere in the Varieté et cetera thrives on the interplay of light, music, movement, and direct audience reaction.
