Winter Magic, Acrobatics, and Comedy: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum
When the lights dim in the Varieté et cetera, a thrilling journey begins between dizzying aerial acrobatics, astonishing juggling, music, and dark humor. The winter show ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international varieté artistry with the warm atmosphere of a special evening in Bochum from October 30, 2026, to February 28, 2027.
A Production Between Gravity and Wonder
The dramaturgy of the show thrives on the interplay of tension, elegance, and surprising twists. Aerial acrobatics, contortion, roller-skate acrobatics, and juggling transform the stage into a venue where physical limits seemingly fall away. Director Sammy Tavalis shapes this into a varied evening with clear contrasts and high tempo.
International Acrobatics with Bochum Flavor
The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet with singing, charm, and visible circus tradition. The host hails from a famous circus family and shares the stage with Kimberly Lester in the roller-skating number of the Skating Willers. Their acrobatic partnership combines precision, speed, and comedic antics.
Intense stage images are provided by Sudi Salumu with his extraordinary contortion and Bochum juggler Walid Merhi, who sends balls and frisbees through the space on surprising trajectories. The Trio Beautiful enhances the show with elegant acrobatics, while Duo Deibit y Nimeria delivers spectacular moments with trapeze.
Comedy, Music, and a Stage Full of Energy
Davide Skizzo Nicolosi, as a chaotic star-comedian, brings an anarchic note to the production. Magic, music, dance, and anti-juggling merge into a comedic game of expectations. Between the artistic highlights, a special theater atmosphere is generated where the audience marvels, laughs, and collectively picks up the rhythm of the evening.
Lighting design, costumes, and stage sets support the visual dramaturgy of the winter show. The acoustics of the varieté tent carry song, music, and audience reaction directly into the space. This creates a sensory stage experience that combines classic circus tradition with modern varieté aesthetics.
A Festive Evening at Varieté et cetera
The performance on December 26, 2026, begins at 8 PM. Doors and gastronomy open two hours before the show starts. There are various parquet categories available for attendance; tickets for Saturday evening start at 43 euros according to the organizer. Those wishing to celebrate the year's end with acrobatics, comedy, and live music will find an evening full of movement, surprises, and festive tension here.
Conclusion: ICE COLD CAUGHT! promises a versatile varieté experience with international acrobatics, humorous moderation, and spectacular acts. Those who want to not just watch stage art but feel it physically will experience an evening at Varieté et cetera that lingers long after the final applause.
