When Winter Sparks on Stage
At Varieté et cetera Bochum, it will be spectacular on January 3, 2027: "ICE COLD CAUGHT!" combines international acrobatics, comedy, music, and fast-paced roller skating acrobatics into a diverse winter show experience. The show starts at 7 PM.
Acrobatics Between Awe and Gravity
The production relies on strong visuals and varying artistic disciplines. Fearless aerial acrobats, contortion, juggling, and partner acrobatics turn the stage into a place of constant movement. Sudi Salumu showcases extraordinary body art as a contortionist, while Walid Merhi combines balls and frisbees in a modern juggling performance with classical sounds and contemporary beats.
Roller Skates, Rhythm, and International Variety
Thrilling moments are provided by Pierre Poissonnet and Kimberly Lester with their roller skate act. Poissonnet also serves as the host and singer for the night. His artistic family history dates back to the Scottish Billy Smarts Circus; together with Lester, he continues the tradition of the Skating Willers.
Comedy as Anarchic Stage Energy
Davide Nicolosi aka Skizzo brings an unconventional mix of magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling to the dramaturgy. Between artistic precision and surprising twists, a theatrical atmosphere emerges that combines tension, humor, and immediate audience reaction.
Direction, Lighting, and Stage Design
The direction is taken by Sammy Tavalis. Ronny Cabello is responsible for the lighting design, while the costume design comes from Lara Cabello. The stage design is created by Ronny Cabello and Patrick Siekmann. Thus, the winter show combines precise choreography with colorful variety aesthetics and sensory stage moments.
Conclusion: "ICE COLD CAUGHT!" promises an energy-filled stage experience for everyone who wants to experience acrobatics, comedy, and music in an atmospheric show. Those who wish to feel the magic of variety live, rather than from a distance, will find an evening full of surprises at Varieté et cetera.
