When Winter Sparks: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum
On January 9, 2027, the Varieté et cetera transforms into a stage for breathtaking acrobatics, surprising comedy, and musical energy. The winter show ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international artistry with rapid dramaturgy and takes the audience into a world between thrill, elegance, and anarchic humor.
Artistic Play with Gravity
Dizzying aerial acrobatics, flexible contortion, and death-defying roller skate artistry dominate the evening. The ensemble explores the limits of physical possibility and turns seemingly weightless movements into precisely composed stage pictures. An immediate stage experience arises between tension and wonder, intensifying the theater atmosphere in Varieté et cetera with each act.
International Artistic Talent and Bochum Talent
The show is led by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation and singing. Together with Kimberly Lester, he presents the traditional roller skate artistry of the Skating Willers. Sudi Salumu, who has been performing since the age of twelve, brings an extraordinary body art to the stage as a contortionist. For his participation in the Newcomer Show 2025 in Leipzig, he received the Special Award from Varieté et cetera.
Bochum juggler Walid Merhi combines classical music with modern beats and glides balls and frisbees through space in flowing movements. Strapaten acrobatics, partner artistry, and the performances of Trio Beautiful expand the spectrum of this varied winter show.
Comedy, Music, and Surprising Twists
The direction by Sammy Tavalis brings the different disciplines together into a lively tension arc. Skizzo, as a chaotic star comedian, adds a wonderfully unpredictable touch by combining comedy, music, dance, magic, and anti-juggling. Energizing highlights alternate with poetic moments, while light, acoustics, and costumes transform the stage into a sparkling winter wonderland.
A Varieté Evening for All Senses
The Varieté et cetera combines stage experience and gastronomy for an atmospheric evening. The show lasts about 90 minutes without a break. Entrance begins one hour before the 4 PM performance. The auditorium is accessible at ground level; there are free disabled parking spaces available in front of the theater, and a barrier-free toilet is located in the foyer.
Conclusion: ICE COLD CAUGHT! promises a winter show full of acrobatics, comedy, music, and astonishing body art. Those who want to experience the thrill of live performance, the closeness to the stage, and immediate audience reactions should secure their seats for this special varieté evening in good time.
