Winter magic, acrobatics, and great variety moments in Bochum

When the lights in Varieté et cetera light up, it begins with ICE COLD CAUGHT! a winter show full of surprises, music, humor, and spectacular body art. On January 16, 2027, international acrobatics combines with charming moderation to create a stage experience that unites amazement and laughter in one breath.

A fast-paced mix of acrobatics and comedy

The production relies on the special dramaturgy of variety: acts do not simply line up but condense into a varied evening of thrills, elegance, and anarchic humor. Aerial acrobatics, trapeze, contortion, juggling, and roller skating bring movement to every scene. Additionally, comedian Skizzo, with magic, music, dance, and anti-juggling, provides surprising twists.

International stage art with a personal touch

The evening is guided by Pierre Poissonnet with singing, charm, and artistic instinct. As a member of a traditional circus family, he combines moderation and acting with the rapid roller skating acrobatics of the Skating Willers. Together with Kimberly Lester, a performance is created that unites athletic precision and feather-light elegance.

Other acts also set strong visual accents: Sudi Salumu shows extraordinary contortion, Walid Merhi lets balls and Frisbees fly across the room, while the trio Beautiful ensures impressive images with modern acrobatics. The ensemble is complemented by the duo Deibit y Nimeria on trapeze.

Light, costume, and movement as an overall experience

Director Sammy Tavalis shapes the individual performances into a fast-paced evening with clear contrasts. The stage design by Ronny Cabello and Patrick Siekmann, the lighting design by Ronny Cabello, and the costumes by Lara Cabello give the winter show its visual atmosphere. Between glittering variety aesthetics, acrobatic tension, and comical exaggeration, a theater atmosphere emerges that appeals to all senses.
