When Winter Sparks: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum
In the Varieté et cetera, the January evening transforms into a fast-paced stage experience full of acrobatics, comedy, music, and surprising twists. The winter show ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international artistry with sharp timing, great theater atmosphere, and the charm of a modern variety production.
Artistic Play with Gravity
Dizzying aerial acrobatics, straps, contortion, and juggling bring movement to every scene. Sudi Salumu twists his body into spectacular positions as a contortionist, while Walid Merhi showcases modern juggling art with frisbees and balls. The trio Beautiful relies on elegant acrobatics and visual precision.
Rollerskates, Rhythm, and Risky Elegance
The Skating Willers provide special excitement with their roller skate acrobatics. Together with Kimberly Lester, host and singer Pierre Poissonnet combines sports dynamics, live singing, and charming audience interaction. The performances thrive on the shift between controlled balance, speed, and the brief moment when the stage holds its breath.
Comedy as Anarchic Counterpoint
With Davide Skizzo Nicolosi, a deliberately chaotic note enters the evening. His stage character blends magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling. This creates a dramaturgy that continually infuses artistic excellence with surprising comedic breaks.
Direction, Stage Design, and Lighting Mood
The direction by Sammy Tavalis brings the various disciplines together for a varied evening of entertainment. Lighting design, costumes, and stage design create the visual framework for a winter wonderland where acrobatics and acting, music and movement intersect. The production focuses less on a linear plot and more on rhythmic transitions, strong imagery, and immediate audience reactions.
A Variety Evening for All Senses
The Varieté et cetera combines the stage show with gastronomy and stylish ambiance. Doors open two hours before the show starts. This creates a complete evening from the theater visit, including culinary delights, eager anticipation, and an exceptional artistic state.
Conclusion: ICE COLD CAUGHT! promises a versatile stage experience with international artistry, humorous surprises, and musical vigor. Anyone who wants to not only observe but feel the magic of variety will experience an evening full of movement, wonder, and laughter at the Varieté et cetera.
