ICE COLD CAUGHT! brings winter variety fire to Bochum

When the curtain rises on January 24, 2027, at Varieté et cetera, a stage experience begins that combines dizzying acrobatics, music, comedy, and poetic moments. The winter show ICE COLD CAUGHT! blends international variety with rapid entertainment and takes the audience into a world full of surprises, precision, and wonder.

Acrobatics that defy gravity

The production relies on striking contrasts: aerial acrobatics meet flexible contortion, elegant balance meets spectacular roller skate cascades. The ensemble showcases artistic disciplines that combine physical excellence with theatrical presence. Particularly, Sudi Salumu impresses as a contortionist when he twists his body into positions that leave the audience breathless.

Juggling, roller skates, and modern stage energy

Walid Merhi makes balls and frisbees float in flowing movements. His juggling combines classic foundations with modern dynamics and musical rhythm. The pace on stage is set by the skating Willers, Pierre Poissonnet and Kimberley Lester. Their roller skate artistry combines risky precision with stage charm; Poissonnet additionally takes on moderation and singing.

Comedy as an anarchic spark

Between the artistic highlights, Davide Skizzo Nicolosi adds comedic accents. His stage persona blends magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling into a unique variant of variety. This gives the dramaturgy increasingly surprising twists: after concentrated silence comes liberating laughter, after thrill a playful moment.

International artists in a sensual production

Director Sammy Tavalis brings the different disciplines together for a varied evening. Lighting design, costumes, and stage set create the visual framework for a show where movement, acoustics, and atmosphere intertwine. The result is a vibrant variety dramaturgy with colorful costumes, rhythmic music, and a theater atmosphere that creates closeness between the stage and the audience.

An evening for wonder, laughter, and shared memories

ICE COLD CAUGHT! is aimed at all who want to experience great stage art, artistic excellence, and humorous entertainment in a special atmosphere.
