When Gravity Takes a Break: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum

In the Varieté et cetera, winter transforms into a sparkling stage experience full of artistry, music, comedy, and surprising twists. The show ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international top artistry with a spirited moderation and a theatrical atmosphere that places wonder and laughter right next to each other.

Acrobatics Between Risk and Elegance

Fearless aerial acrobats, flexible contortionists, and daring roller-skate artists leave the audience breathless. The stage design, lighting mood, and precisely set acoustics create the space for performances where every hand movement, every turn, and every moment of balance counts.

An International Ensemble with Its Own Signature

The evening is led by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation and singing. Together with Kimberly Lester, he presents the traditional roller-skate acrobatics of Skating Willers. Lester also showcases antipodism, juggling up to six balls with her feet.

Especially impressive is Sudi Salumu's contortion. The artist from Zanzibar has been performing since he was twelve and received the Special Award of the Varieté et cetera at the Newcomer Show in Leipzig in 2025. His body control combines extreme flexibility with an almost weightless stage presence.

The Bochum artist Walid Merhi combines balls and frisbees into flowing images in his juggling. Classical music meets modern beats, giving his performance a contemporary dramaturgy. The trio Beautiful complements the staging with powerful partner acrobatics.

Comedy, Music, and Surprising Twists

The comedic touch is provided by Skizzo. His stage character combines comedy, music, dance, magic, and anti-juggling into a deliberately anarchic contrast to the highly precise artistry. This creates a varied tension arc where thrill and release, concentration and laughter alternate.

The direction is taken over by Sammy Tavalis. Lighting design, costume design, and stage design, combined with acting and artistic disciplines, shape a fast-paced varieté production for all the senses.

An Evening for Eyes, Ears, and Heart

The winter show focuses on the immediate stage experience: on rolling wheels, floating bodies, flying objects, and the brief, electric moment before the applause. The audience experiences a show that combines technical precision with humor, charm, and international varieté tradition.

Conclusion: Bochum Experiences Varieté with Goosebumps Moments
