Variety full of excitement: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum

When the lights in Varieté et cetera illuminate, a winter show begins that combines dizzying acrobatics, musical charm, and anarchic humor. ICE COLD CAUGHT! merges international stage art with fast pace and surprising twists – a stage experience for everyone who wants to marvel, laugh, and experience spectacular body art under one roof.

Between aerial acrobatics and weightless precision

The production takes the audience through a varied sequence of acrobatic disciplines. Aerial acrobats defy gravity, the duo Deibit y Nimeria showcases aerial strap art, and the trio Beautiful focuses on powerful acrobatics with clear body language. Sudi Salumu transforms his extraordinary flexibility into poetic contortion: his body images appear simultaneously astonishing, elegant, and almost unreal.

Roller skates, juggling, and the rhythm of risk

Swift moments are provided by the Skating Willers with their breathtaking roller skate acrobatics. Pierre Poissonnet combines moderation and singing with the artistic family tradition of his roller skate act. Walid Merhi brings balls and Frisbees into flowing trajectories and merges classical musical elements with modern beats. This creates a dramaturgy of precision, speed, and surprising visual impulses.

Comedy as an anarchic counterpoint

The evening is guided by Pierre Poissonnet as the charming host. The comedian Skizzo counterbalances the artistic tension with a delightfully chaotic note. His stage character combines comedy, music, dance, magic, and anti-juggling. Between spectacular performances and pointed transitions, a theatrical atmosphere develops where excitement and liberating laughter intertwine.

Direction, stage design, and an international ensemble

The direction is by Sammy Tavalis. The ensemble includes Pierre Poissonnet, Skizzo, Kimberley Lester, the Skating Willers, the duo Deibit y Nimeria, Sudi Salumu, the trio Beautiful, and Walid Merhi. The show stands for a contemporary variety dramaturgy where acting, acrobatics, music, and lighting mood merge into a sensual overall experience.
