Wintry variety full of acrobatics, comedy, and astonishing moments

When the lights shine at Varieté et cetera, a thrilling winter show begins with ICE COLD CAUGHT! between artistic peak performance, music, and anarchic humor. On February 13, 2027, the audience in Bochum can expect a stage experience that combines classical variety art with modern show energy.

Gravity becomes a minor matter

The staging brings together aerial acrobatics, contortion, juggling, partner acrobatics, and spectacular roller skate artistry. Sudi Salumu showcases extraordinary body control as a contortionist, while Walid Merhi has balls and Frisbees swirling through the air in a modern juggling choreography. The trio Beautiful focuses on precise hand-to-hand acrobatics and adds elegant tension to the dramatic structure.

Tempo, music, and comedic surprises

The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet with singing, charm, and artistic instinct. The entertainer comes from a renowned circus family and combines moderation with the fast-paced roller skate acrobatics of the Skating Willers. The comedic element is provided by Davide Nicolosi, alias Skizzo: His stage character combines magic, music, dance, comedy, and anti-juggling into a deliberately unpredictable variety performance.

A winter show with an international ensemble

Directed by Sammy Tavalis, the various acts come together for a varied evening. The set design, lighting design, and costumes create the visual framework for a show where artistic precision and atmospheric theatricality meet. The acoustics of the hall, the changing lights, and the immediate proximity to the audience enhance the tension of each performance.
