Wintry Variety Full of Acrobatic Skills, Comedy, and Surprises
When the lights go out in the Variety et cetera, a thrilling journey begins between dizzying acrobatics, musical charm, and anarchic humor. The winter show ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international artistry with a vibrant theater atmosphere and invites you to a special stage experience in Bochum on February 14, 2027.
Gravity Becomes Irrelevant
The production focuses on a versatile ensemble: aerial acrobatics, contortion, juggling, and roller-skating artistry come together and transform the stage into a place of constant movement. Sudi Salumu showcases spectacular body art and bends his body into seemingly impossible positions. Bochum artist Walid Merhi brings modern juggling to the stage, while the trio Beautiful impresses with elegance and precise group acrobatics.
Roller Skates, Singing, and Comedic Energy
The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet, who combines moderation and singing with artistic presence. Together with Kimberly Lester, he keeps the tradition of roller-skating artistry alive. Their act combines speed, balance, and choreographic precision into a stage moment that utilizes the room's acoustics as well as the dynamics of light.
Surprising twists are ensured by Davide Nicolosi aka Skizzo. His stage persona combines comedy, magic, music, dance, and anti-juggling. This creates a varied arc of tension, where amazed silence is immediately followed by liberating laughter.
Dramaturgy Between Wonder and Laughter
Director Sammy Tavalis brings together the different disciplines into a cohesive variety dramaturgy. Set design, costumes, and lighting design create the framework for a show that does not rely on a single performance but gains its effect from the change of forms: powerful acrobatics, fine elegance, musical transitions, and comedic surprises intertwine.
An Evening for All the Senses
The Variety et cetera combines artistic excellence with stylish gastronomy and a family-like atmosphere. Entry and gastronomy begin two hours before the show starts. For the Sunday performance on February 14, 2027, the start is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Ticket prices on Sundays range from 43 to 48 euros depending on the seat category.
