When the stage holds its breath: ICE COLD CAUGHT! in Bochum

At Varieté et cetera Bochum, winter becomes a sparkling stage event. ICE COLD CAUGHT! combines international acrobatics, comedy, music, and fast-paced roller skate artistry into an atmospheric winter show that unites awe and laughter in one breath. On February 18, 2027, at 8 PM, a stage experience full of surprising twists, precise body art, and dizzying moments begins.

Acrobatics between weightlessness and excitement

The production leads through an artistic kaleidoscope: aerial acrobatics on straps meets contortion, partner acrobatics, juggling, and roller skate artistry. The duo Deibit y Nymeria works with powerful ascents, spins, and risky falls on hanging fabrics. The trio Beautiful focuses on elegant hand-to-hand acrobatics while Sudi Salumu transforms his body into extraordinary positions.

Comedy, music, and an ensemble of international format

The evening is hosted by Pierre Poissonnet with moderation and singing. The artist comes from a historic circus family and combines charm, musical talent, and roller skate artistry into a distinctive stage presence. Anarchic humor is provided by Davide Skizzo Nicolosi, whose comedy intertwines magic, music, dance, and anti-juggling.

Juggling also receives its own dramatic color: Walid Merhi turns balls and frisbees into rhythmic partners and combines classical music with modern beats. Kimberly Lester adds to the program with antipodean artistry and a joint roller skate number with Pierre Poissonnet.

Direction, light, and stage design as part of the narrative

Director Sammy Tavalis shapes the individual performances into a varied tension arc. Lighting design by Ronny Cabello, costumes by Lara Cabello, and the stage design by Ronny Cabello and Patrick Siekmann create the visual framework for a show in which each number has its own rhythm. The theater atmosphere thrives on the interplay between concentrated silence, musical drive, and liberating laughter.

An evening for awe, laughter, and great stage art

ICE COLD CAUGHT! directs the gaze towards the versatility of modern variety art. Audience reaction occurs through the shift between risk and ease: just absolute body control in the air, the next moment a comedic break or a musical transition. In this way, a closed stage experience grows from acrobatics, acting, lighting mood, and acoustics.

Varieté et cetera invites you on February 18, 2027, to an evening that challenges gravity and sets winter in motion. Those who want to experience international acrobatics, pointed comedy, and a stylish show atmosphere live will find an evening full of energy, elegance, and surprises.
