Together in Search of Truth, Trust, and What is Truly Right

Lying Party - An Interactive Search for Truth is an interactive performance by Turbo Pascal and the Drama Control for children and adolescents. The event invites the young audience to playfully and critically engage with the question of how truth is formed, how to recognize fake news, and why social trust is important.

The focus is on a joint search for answers: What is true, what is invented, and how do information affect our coexistence? Instead of merely explaining the topic, the performance relies on interaction. Children and adolescents are encouraged to contribute their own thoughts, question perceptions, and reflect on the handling of information.

Premiere at Theaterrevier Bochum

The premiere takes place on October 4, 2026 at Theaterrevier Bochum. The theater becomes a place for exchange, observation, and collective reflection. The interactive form is particularly aimed at a young audience that is confronted daily with news, claims, and different perspectives.

'Lying Party' connects theater with social questions. The performance makes it clear that trust is not something to be taken for granted and that distinguishing between reliable information and misinformation requires attention. It is not just about digital media, but also about how people interact with each other and which statements they choose to believe.
