WALLIS „What if?“: A wild journey into the land of possibilities
When the present gets moving, a game with possibilities begins on stage. Waltraud Ehlert performs her theater evening WALLIS „What if?“ at the Varieté et cetera in Bochum and invites the audience on a journey that is both humorous and thought-provoking between illusion, utopia, and reality.
Between change, hope, and Ruhr area humor
The production focuses on times when people change and simultaneously shape the moment. Ideas can arise from illusions, concrete reality from utopias. Waltraud Ehlert addresses these questions with her unmistakable stage character WALLIS and a direct, pointed approach to everyday life.
A stage experience with a personal touch
The centerpiece is the acting talent of the performer: linguistically close to the audience, characterized by the distinctive Ruhr area tone and supported by a strong comedic presence. The dramaturgy blends social observation with cabaret-style exaggeration and creates lively stage scenes from big questions about the future.
Theater atmosphere at Varieté et cetera
The Varieté et cetera creates the perfect setting for this guest performance. The theater evening begins at 8 PM, with doors and kitchen opening at 6 PM. According to event information, the performance lasts until about 9:30 PM. A reservation is required; seating is assigned upon reservation.
