Beautiful little square. Really great for a short break or just to linger and relax. A little tip: If you want to celebrate New Year's Eve with fireworks, you can't miss the market square. The atmosphere is literally fantastic. 😃

Almost once a month, the Gerthe Community Center (Gerther Treff) organizes a hobby and flea market in the market garden for interested residents of Gerthe and the surrounding area. The proceeds go towards projects in Gerthe, such as planting flowers in the pedestrian zone. The market stall on the Gerthe market square is also run by the Gerthe Community Center and is open every Saturday when there is no flea market. Here, bread rolls, fresh cake, and coffee are sold, and the proceeds also go towards local projects.

You can sit comfortably outside. The service is friendly and pleasant.

We were there for the first time at the flea market. It was small but nice😉
