We saw two children's plays. They were delightful! The theater was small, so the kids felt at ease. The set design was inventive, the characters and plot were vivid and clear. Adults also found it engaging—there was subtext. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Four pilots with three older children—relatively new to the theater—and we as a family loved the play. Great actors, great production!

The theater is a bit run-down. Let's call it industrial style. The plays are quite nice, but as always, politically motivated and one-sided. I just wonder: How many more theaters does Bochum want to open? In my opinion, there are already enough theaters in Bochum. After all, they're all heavily subsidized with our tax money. The Schauspielhaus, for example, receives several million euros in tax revenue from the city coffers. Nevertheless, I wish the Theater Revier much success and good luck; you can't help it. It's definitely worth a visit.

Today we saw Struwwelpeter with our 9-year-old – recommended for ages 8 and up. And rightly so: there were some frightening scenes, and our son repeatedly asked Paulinchen, "Is she dead?" (The "Psycho" clip was really funny 😀!) But I don't even want to know how the little kids on their parents' laps experienced all that! They're regulating what size bags are allowed in the show. And that photography isn't allowed (where does it say that? 🤔). But they just leave it up to the parents to decide!?!
